Here's a strange situation I'd like some advice on:

I had a woman win two auctions from me for maternity clothes in mid August, 2002. She emailed about how excited she was to win and would send a money order. Payment never came. I did the NPB thing and she replied on Sept 3, 2002: "I miscarried so I don't need them anymore".

I did the FVF and went on with life. I didn't leave any feedback.

Ebay NARU'd her and just now she emailed me to ask me to either sell her the clothes (long ago relisted and sold) or to "release her from the transaction." Huh?

She provided me with a link to ebay to remove her NPB's. Not gonna do it. How do I respond to her, if at all?

Why would you even think about a reply to a long gone deadbeat at this time? This sorry excuse of a lame duck is just looking for a way back.
Just ignore this deadbeat and go on with your life.

The only action you need take is to be sure she's on your BBL!

She needs one seller to give her a break and retract their NPB. You'd be amazed at how often they are successful at begging. That's why she belongs on your blocked bidder list in case she succeeds in coming back.

First, I agree with the others, just ignore it.

But from the non-buyer's perspective, wouldn't it simply be easier to open a new account at eBay? Or do they have ways of tracking that?

I've never been NARU'ed so I'm not sure how hard it is to get back on. Other than needing a different credit card (who has only one?) what is needed?

I didn't plan on responding but I thought I might find some amusing replies for her! As soon as I heard she wasn't paying, I was done with her.

I would think it would be easier to open a new account but maybe she can't figure it out.

She has been a proud member of my BBL the moment I filed the NPB.

Thanks guys!
