I am the buyer in an auction. Now dummy me I look at the title in the title it says new. So i assume that it is new and moved onto shipping costs and then bid. What i bid on was an xbox gane Ncaa football. I won and recieved game today. It was not sealed there was a crease in the instruction book and the game had a few scratches. Not deep but messed up as my son and I played. 1 gam4e played fine the 2nd game locked game up. In the description it says like new(I missed that me dummy)

NCAA FOOTBALL 2003 FOR XBOX*NEW*X-BOX EA GAME
Item # 3001300577
this was 1 email i recieved

The only reason my heading was new is because I didn't have enough room to put like new. Almost everyone else understood that so I will give you $3 back instead of $5. That sounds fair.

another 1

Well sorry about that. I have many of these that I shipped. Is crediting $3 to your paypal account okay? Most cds wern't like that and I cant check all of them before shipping.

I hate negativing anyone. this would be his first in almost 500 auctions.

He would like me to send it back to him and he will play it to see if he has problem then send me out a different used one.

Your opinion as sellers would be apreciated. since i am going to get in selling game on ebay myself

Although the New thing is a little iffy (I put NEW in the title of my DVDs that I sell even if they are unsealed but mine really are new and unplayed and I state in the description that they are unsealed). Considering that the seller is willing to refund or replace I wouldn't neg them though. They seem to be trying to make things right and neging them would give them zero incentive to follow thru.

I'd send it back.
And let him send you a new one.
It sounds like he's on the up&up.

Hold off on feed back till deal is completed.

agreed but I won't issue feedback until follow thru. unfortunately it is my only protection.

Now if i can just figure out what to sell. Believe it or not my previous selling was for an online game. Ultima online. People paid me real money for in game items. 1000000 gold used to get and houses and castles went for between $50 and 1.000 dolars

I remember those days. I never dealt in it but I remember seeing the auctions come up in my searched all the time. Peple tried to do that with Neopets but they don't allow it. NP has the auctions shut down.
