I like to use Shipping Assistant 2 so I can get the cheap confirmation for First Class mailing. But I don't see where the confirmation number is being saved in case of a delivery problem. The box next to "Save Form Fields and Response to Output Path?" is checked. Whatever that means! Or do I need to just write the confirmation # next to the sale in my notebook? Thanks you guys!

There is an email option that you can use, and it will be emailed to you and if you want, your customer as well. Since it prints off a whole page, what I do is save the paper copies and file them chronologically. I also date stamp them, so if I need to go back and find out about something, I look at my invoice file to see what date I packed it, and then I go through and find the paper copy. So far this has worked well, of course now that I use delivery confirmation I have really reduced issues of non delivery, it's like magic!

I thought by checking "Email the Confirmation Number?" it would send the confirmation to the recipient. You mean it will send it to me, also?

Yes, it can send a copy to yourself as well. I've tried it and it works, but I figure since I have the paper copy already, I might as well use that.
