Hi, everybody: At a yard sale I bought a set of gorgeous pottery dishes, plates, salad plates, bowls, cream-colored with raised pine cones around the rims. I'll probably use this at our mountain cabin--too perfect!
Backstamp says "HOME" made in China, dishwasher safe, may get hot in microwave (duhhhh)"
In case I decide not to keep the dishes, do you know who makes that brand? I've seen it at other yard sales and it was always too new for me to be interested for selling purposes, but if it were made, say, for Pottery Barn, or even a department store with a recognizable name, I may show more interest in the future.
Replacements Ltd. just says it's looking--nothing available in "HOME" under the H's in their listings.

If it says Made In China, then I hope you got it cheap. I haven't found any market for any dinnerware that says "Made In China" As far as who made it, well WYSWG.

Yes, I got it for practically nothing, but I"m telling you all, while it isn't fine china, it's really nice chunky pottery and perfect for a woodsy setting.
It's just that HOME is ringing a bell; I've seen it before on the back of dishes and also in some catalog I get in the mail. I've checked Sears and Pottery Barn but no dice. It may even be a Target product. I'll try that next.
I'd like to get a few more pieces in that pattern, actually, but if it's sold somewhere like Target, it may only come in sets.
