Under "payment options" on my e-bay ads, paypal & e-bay payments get left out on my ads & I am required to do a revision on each one! (It appears that I only accept checks & money orders & this DEFINITELY hurts sales!) I perused my account info and all the proper boxes are checked. I put checks in all the right boxes on the templates when I'm placing my ads YET THIS KEEPS HAPPENING! What the heck???

I have the same exact problem even though all the appropriate boxes are checked. I don't know how to fix it, but revising your ads every time gets tedious. Maybe someone, somewhere has the answer.

You can permanently add PayPal to appear at the top of your listing BY going to Vendio.."My Account" tab (at the top)..then "seller preferences" "global preferences" and select PayPal as a payment option .. shouldnt have to change again!

Been there, done that, didn't work. Thank you much anyway! Maybe an email to Vendio is the solution?

I havve the same problem. I haven't been able to figure out how to fix it but in the menatime I went to my Paypal account and set up from them to insert their logo and such into all of my auctions as well as stating clearly in my auctions that I do accept PayPal.

I have a template TOS that I use over & over. I keep it in my pending auctions. When set auctions, I hit copy for as many as I need. Then I gop back to auction magr , set up & put in the description, change the category & it is done. Never have a problem.

I use "sales manager" to do my listings and have set up "inventory" items to set up my boiler plate descriptions and TOS for each type of item I list..I hit "create eBay listing" and then select my "inventory" item, change the category and the particulars and schedule launch.

I just opened one of those "inventory" items and there is a place to "manage payment options"... it seems to take you right to "my seller preferences" ...

what program do you use to list items? (sales manager/sales manager pro) and how do you go about creating listings?

I do my ads via Vendio's sales manager templates. I have gone the route of "my account" and "global preferences" - all the appropriate boxes were checked & I still the problem persists. Even though there are paypal logos all over the place, I've really noticed a drop in bids if I don't revise the listings.

I still have the exact same problem. I use Vendio to list. Not sure what the answer is. It's not in how I list the auctions. Could it be because I have Ebay's checkout disabled?

I know what you mean about pain in revising auctions - that is one reason I left Spare Dollar...they didnt have the ability to set "PP" as a payment option.

The reason I asked about how you listed is because perhaps you inadvertently have overidden the payment options selected???

Sound like that isn't the casse...when you click on the place "to see payment options you have selected" (new listing form) does it show "paypal"? Maybe you had better post the question in the Vendio Community section..they can go in your account and tell you what's what..good luck!

Hello all,

In order to get the "I accept Paypal" text and clickable button in your listings, you must have the "Include the PayPal Checkout button and logo in my listing" selected in Global Preferences. Sandhillcrane, I notice that you do have this option selected, however CBlev65252, you have the "Include only the PayPal logo in my listing (recommended)" option selected.

Sandhillcrane - are *all* of your listings launched minus this information, or is it just some? Are the affected listings relists, newly created Sales Manager online listings, inventory listings, or listings created in Sales Manager Pro?

We will be happy to look into this if you will provide some example items where the Paypal payment option did not show up.

Thanks!

Diana
