Since all my auction launches were delayed because of "EBAY" problems, do they still have the same end times I put in for (i.e., if I scheduled a launch at 7:00 pm Sunday for 7 days, does it end next Sunday at 7:00PM)?
If not, how do I cancel the auction and not get charged by Ebay or Vendio so that I can schedule for a more reasonable end time?

The launch delay currently seems to be 35 minutes. They close exactly 7 days, 5 days, 3 days from actual launch not the time you hoped to launch. If you are quick you can go to "Pending" check the box of the auction(s) and click cancel. You can then reschedule at your leisure.

They will end at the same time they launched. No refunds if you cancel..

I just had a couple to launch tonight but finally gave up and will try again tomorrow. I really wanted one item to end next Sunday night but I don't want to take the chance that the bidders on the East coast will be waiting for it at midnight.

My auction launches are now running behind one hour plus and still counting! At this rate, they won't launch until the wee hours of the morning..much too late for the East Coast..I'm getting really ticked!!

I wouldn't doubt the delays are at least indirectly caused by ebay. These third party services are costing them a lot of potential revenue. The new page format that is coming soon may cause the third party services more headaches. Ebay knows what it is doing in making life miserable for the competiting services.

Auction - problem is that I use this service and AuctionWorks. For the past two weeks my AuctionWorks listings go off immediately and without a hitch - my Vendio auctions tonight that didn't error out took over an hour in processing.

Hi folks-
Here is an update on the launch delays...
**********************************
Update (11:20pm PST Monday)
After further conversations with the eBay API team, we have learned that eBay will be increasing the capacity of their API servers to acommodate a higher level of launch traffic.
The estimated time for release is still being worked out, however, eBay assures us that the capacity issues will be addressed as top priority.
Stay tuned - we'll will have further updates Tuesday morning. We're sorry for the inconvenience, and are working relentlessly (and late) to get this resolved.

VP, Marketing
Vendio

Let's hope they get it fixed in time for the "Penny Gallery" days!

I never launch my auctions to start or end on sundays. That is the day ebay seems to have the most problems. I do really good on Saturdays, and Monday-Thursday. After getting multiple emails from buyers who have told me they can't get there bids to go through on Sundays, I gave up on that day.
