I don't use Ebay Picture Services at all, but seems that the only way to get the new ridiculous Item Page to look like anything anybody would ever want to be interested in, will be to add the image of the item right there in the beginning of it. They offer that thru eBay Picture Services, and the 1st pic for each auction is free, but how on God's green earth are we supposed to get the photo there, other than selecting each and every auction AFTER it is launched and then "revise" it, adding it thru the eBay Picture Services then? How many dozens of hours is that now going to take me/us all every week??
Does AW/Vendio offer an option in the "Create A Listing" where we can enter the URL for that 1st free eBay Picture Services image to get it added automatically into the top/beginning of the auction? If not, does anyone have a clue as to how to do this at all without doing them all one at a time, everytime we launch?
Also, if the item is not sold the first time & we relist it, will the picture show up at the top still, or, since it was a "revision" and not part of the original auction, will we have to go thru the entire process again to add it back in? GGGrrrrr

This is being discussed in the Vendio Services Community Board (below) - Vendio says that they will have a way to add a pic here by Friday!
Here is the VD line:
Greetings again-
Good news! Our development team indicates they will have a solution in place by Friday, July 11 that will allow Vendio sellers to include the iPix preview in their listings.
Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience. We will continue to work with eBay on reducing their lag time introducing new features into the API.
Regards,
Kevin Wray

Kevin,
That's nice but there is ONE HUGE PROBLEM! Has anyone gone in and revised their auction to use eBay's Pic Service for the 1st free image in order to get a photo to appear at the top of the page? Have you then noticed that if you had a Gallery photo you were using, it is automatically changed to whatever you chose as your free picture AND that's not all!!! I only changed a few of mine over and then ran out of time (THANK GOD!) because, when I looked at my Seller's List at the page with all the Gallery Photos, the ones that I had switched over to use eBay's Pic Service were shrunk down to half the size of the gallery photos I had used before - even though they are the SAME URL!!! It didn't show up immediately, it took about a day until they appeared shrunk. I had to go BACK in and MANUALLY switch them ALL back over AGAIN to NOT using eBay's Pic Service and RE-ENTER my own URL as my own Web Hoster to get the Gallery Photo to return to the original full size!! Now, tell me HOW DOES EBAY THINK THAT IS A GOOD THING - TO SHRINK PHOTOS DOWN IF USING THEIR SERVICE IN ORDER TO FIX YET ANOTHER THING THEY HAVE SCREWED UP BY CHANGING THE FORMAT OF THE ITEM PAGE???????
It just goes on and on and on!!!!!!!!
