So I have a NPB which I have already discussed on another thread. Basically, he blamed his "child" for placing the bid. Then he berated me, and attempted to show off his intellect to the point of getting 2-3 emails each and every day about "how much more intelligent he is". All the while, he never sends payment.

Now it is time for him to get a payment reminder, then a FVF to be filed. Problem is that I really don't care to go through the crap he will nonetheless do by retaliating. I already left a neg, and he has no clue. He thought I would give in to his blackmail. So, his neg sits for over 10 days now. I know that when I file the FVF he will notice the neg and retaliate. I'm hoping to skate by hoping he forgets and doesn't check feedback and then 45 days pass... i am really pushing it here. anyhow, would you do the NPB warning or just take the small hit on the item FVF and hope for the best?

First of all, Why did you file a neg before you did a NPB? You left yourself open for a neg. . File the NPB & the FVF & go on your merry way. What is done can't be undone now.

I would take the hit on a small FVF, if you can. I'm all for protecting FB. Having a creep mess up your FB is hard to swallow.
If he catches it before the 45 days are up he will certainly neg you.
Of course file FVF if he does.

Just sit on it & wait & see what happens.
You have plenty of time to watch & think it over.

Forgot to say, I wouldn't have negged him, it won't hurt him in the least, but it sure hurts a seller.
Way to hurt an NPB is to file for FVF, not to neg him.

If he wants to keep harrassing you tell him that you will forward his emails about his KID placing bids to safe harbor.

It is a serious and suspendable offense for minors to be bidding.... and a link to that rule in the help section.

If he doesn't either pay, apologize or at least leave you the hell alone then report him for harrasment and the "minors" bidding rule.

Why parents let their kids know their password on Ebay I don't understand.....
