Got this big HEAVY bowl at a garage sale I popped into this weekend ... asked seller "know if this is old?".. they said they'd gotten it at a yard sale quite a few years ago, and that the owner then said it was their grandfather's, but they just don't know ........ 12" across x 5.75" tall and heavy .. features 2 panels of florals/butterflies opposite 2 panels of different people figures, on inside and outside ... red marking on bottom ... cheryl? I think you know about some of the markings? .... any help at all in identifying how to title and word description for this is greatly appreciated ... i having the 'feeling' it is old, too. ...

This is 20th Century from around the 1960's. Made in the style of qing dynasty. The gold is too shiny and the mark sloppily done. Rose Medallion and Japanese. We had a long thread about this type of item. Perhaps someone here can point you to it.
