I can't remember the last time I was asked to end an auction early. Lo & behold, I have 2 this morning on 2 separate auctions. I never end an auction early & explained to both that it was not in my best interest to do so. These are 10 day auctions that run till next Sunday, both have minimum bids on them. What is the opinion of you who read these threads??

I don't generally end early. It's not in the seller's interest. The one time I did end early was because I knew exactly what I had and exactly what it was worth.
In your case, since it's less than 24 hours, it sounds like getting a good price via bidding won't be a problem. Stick to your guns.

Don't end it early, I only lost out once by not ending early. Cost me five cents on a fifty dollar sale. The other times I did better that the price I was offered to end early.
There is a fine line between "hobby" and "mental illness."

If they didn't have bids on them yet, I would have told those people that money talks. Put the money in my hand and you can have the item. But since they both have bids on the, tell them to bid and see. If they don't, so what. You already have bids.
