Hello ALL!!
I know my questions will be answered here because us Vendio warriors are the best!
I now know that posting links to your website is a no no.
I don't accept PayPal (I don't want to get into it..LOL )
I have my own credit card clearing account and process all my orders thru my website.
SO... the question(s)
I need to get people to check out thru my website... since I cant insert a link to my site where they can checkout on the auction page...
A) Can I put a link to my e-mail address in the auction, when they click on it and use the Vendio system to auto respond to their e-mail address with my website and checkout info?
B) In the payment info section of the auction, I do accept all types of payment (except PayPal), but can I put that they must check out thru my website AND put the website address (but not a link)?
C) Has the rule changed in the "about me" page where you used to be able to put your website info there? and if so, can I just put a link in my auction to my "about me" page and describe the link as (see my about me page for information on how to immediately check out)
I know I know... "why don't you just pony up and go with PayPal" Too dangerous

I believe you can have a link to your checkout page from the auction... but on that checkout page you cannot have links to any other place. So just have it go to a checkout page, but don't have any links to your website homepage or to other items for sale (unless this link goes back to your ebay auctions). Make it a strictly ebay related page.
Writing out your website address, even if it is not clickable, is not allowed.
As far as I know you can still advertise your website on your about me page and have links to it there.
