The quote below is from TAGnotes. If you haven't seen the dozens of NEW changes ebay is making soon, better take a look. It's pretty daunting.

This quote is about adding 45-character subtitles to the listing title. No info yet about whether they'll charge more for it.

Here's the TAGnotes quote:

* ebaY will be adding subtitles to listings. This will provide a
text preview of what the item is in search and listings. This includes
an additional 45 characters of text, and will appear under the item link
on the search item pages.

Ya think ebay will try to make it an option that costs extra?

The 10 day auction duration is a dime extra because it 'costs' ebay extra but the 1, 3, & 5 day durations save ebay money but there is no reduction in listing fees?

They are making so many changes. I noticed today the catagories are getting boggling. I told myself ya think I would know them by now...but not when they keep adding, changing and rewording them!

Ace, yeah, I think they will charge for it.
Its my hope they won't, but if they can get a dime outta ya for 10 day listing, why not to add to you title with a subtitle?

What is TAGquotes?
@@@@@@
I know you probably didn't pay much for that; but you never know, it could be worth nothing.

If you think they've made a lot of changes to the listing page then you've got to read the tread over at ebay about possible upcoming changes to the listing pages.

( from an earlier Vendio thread )

Some of the ebay boards are asking for help from ebayers by ebay brass and are very informative.

Here's an interesting thread on possible future changes of the ebay item pages.

Ace: Thanks for sending that link about all the changes people want ebay to make. I'd hate to be ebay, sorting it all out--but then, that's why they're making the big bucks, right!?
