just wanted to thank you folks for all your help...but one of my other ids got suspended, and thus so did this one. Apparently I said the wrong thing about my shoes I had for sale....the shoe lady really has it out for anyone else selling shoes! Once got suspended because I said "these shoes are soiled, but still in good shape" then some other dumb thing like this, and this last time because I said" I cleaned house in these"...wow use your imagination on these folks....crazy, crazy, crazy.
But sure can post auctions with a g-string, and your bottom up to the camera, and not in the mature section!
Suspended for 30 days, and then they have the gull to tell me my account will be billed right now, not supposed to be due yet as I planned, and so I ask them how much, as they won't let me access my account to find out, I told them "let me know so that I can take money out of my son's medicine fund so that I can maybe have the money in the bank for you before I had expected to"
Guess I shouldn't speak to those "Gods" that way, but boy, this was the last straw!
Why can't they attack the people that break the "guidelines" on purpose, instead of attacking the ones that are trying to say and do all the "right" things!?
Boy do I hate Ebay right now....Guess you know what I will be doing....watch out rule breakers....HERE I COME!
I just used the other id once in awhile for junk, as didn't want to associate my domain id with that while I was establishing my ceramic businiss.
Oh well,....it's not been fun Ebay, hope another one comes along to shoot you out of the water....probably won't happen though.
Guess I get to watch a lot of TV.
Anyway thanks guys for trying to help.

Did ebay clearly state exactly why they suspended or are you are just suspecting that it was the I cleaned house in these"...wow use your imagination on these folks....crazy, crazy, crazy. comment?

That doesn't seem bad enough to merit any kind of a suspension.

Your aroundtheworldtreasures ID that you were trying to sell your ceramics on is still active, it doesn't show NARU?

Also when you asked about a price guide for selling antiques I see that you mentioned two years ago on AW/Vendio that you sold antiques and collectibles.

Then the "any key" thread...... things that make me go hmmmmm.......?

You deserve to have both accounts suspended if you have them linked. Instead of spending the next 30 days watching TV, you need to think about seperating your entities. Unless you're a hobby seller, you need to have a contingency plan.

Im totally lost on this one-why would you get suspended for saying "these shoes are soiled, but still in good shape" to me this is an honest description of what you are selling-

I believe we only have a small segment of the story, ebay does not suspend people because of an auction description. They suspend people for selling items that are not allowed on ebay, selling unauthorized copies, etc.

How do you setup accounts that are non-linked? Is there a way to have 2 accounts so if one gets suspended E-Bay doesn't know you have a second one?

Accounts are linked when you use the same credit card number to set up more than one ebay account. The only requirement is that the user has a seperate email address. Since the average American has seven credit cards there are not too many reasons to use the same card on two active selling accounts.

I guess I'm not an average american, I don't have any credit cards. I use my bank cards to pay for my inventory.

This 8 year old chart shows the average to be only 3 or 5 cards ( per person or household? )

If this is the case and you were actually suspended for stating that something was soiled, then it will encourage sellers to describe everything in "like-new" condition. Something doesn't add up regarding this suspension. Even the "I cleaned house" remark would be too mild to be shut down - wouldn't it?
