I probably didn't do this right - I set up profile/inventory item for each of the type of postcards I sell - the profile included the boiler plate language etc applicable to each one so that when I listed I would just have to change one or two things, attach an image and launch.
I have since abandoned the whole profile/inventory item thing and instead I keep several different types of listings in my pending auctions without a scheduled launch date. When I am ready to list, I copy the right one (one click), make the changes, attach the image and schedule the auction. This has saved me a lot of time!
