raceing, I just hope this kind of thing doesn't spread to scammers on Ebay. The sellers have no defense for it.

Of course they do - follow PayPal regulations - ship to a confirmed address and provide delivery confirmation. What are they going to do?

I don't want to be a Pollyanna but it just might have happened. I sent a package to my sister with a Hummel figure and a calendar illustrated with Hummel figures. She sent an enthusiastic thank you for the figure but did not mention the calendar. Weeks later I got a sheepish phone call. She is a rabid saver of boxes. She got out the box I sent to use and found the calendar in the packing.
Accident or failed scam I am glad it worked out well for you, Bigpeepa.

Isn't there a defense for this kind of possible scam by accepting only one combined Paypal payment? If the lady had paid in two seperate PP payments the seller could refund both payments and send a new PP payment request that had both items. That way the one Delivery Confirmation number would cover both items. Seems better than one DC for two seperate PP items.

ACE, If you are saying to ship 2 pieces in 2 separate boxes with delivery confirmation than yes a seller would be covered. I am not sure how PayPal would handle a buyer saying they only received one item and not the other? I do know this, I had no way of proving I shipped both items in one box. If I have time tomorrow I will call PayPal and ask them what they would do. I had made up my mind that no way was I going to give this gal a refund unless PayPal took it out of my account. I was right and 100% did the right thing for this customer on this auction, but I thought I would get a undeserved negative feedback anyway. I can't keep up with all of Ebay's rules. You guys and gals have got to remember I am just a dumb antique picker trying to make a buck.

Peep - I'm glad it worked out for you. Please post what you find out from PayPal so we can all learn what to do when we're combining shipping.

Nope, I'm saying it should be okay to mail the items in one box with one DC as long as the single PP invoice was for both items and not two seperate invoices for one item each.
