Tell him to go directly to P/P & bypass Vendio c/o. I don't use Vendio c/o. I send an invoice directly from ebay. Works great for me.

You could try a canned response to people that need this information:
Dear Nice Customer,
Sorry you are having problems with our checkout.
We usually have around 1800 items on eBay at any given time, so if you can go through our checkout that would help us identify your payment.
Our PayPal ID is [email protected] . (Substitute your paypal address here)
If you pay directly, without going through our checkout, make sure you reference the auction correctly so we do not miss your payment.
My auction service sends out a payment received email after the payment is recognized, so if you pay and then receive a payment received notice from us, then all is well.
If you do not get the payment received email, then let us know and we will search out your payment.
