AOL users...Ever notice that you seem to missing emails? I've had people pay me through paypal and I received no notice. I've listed auction after auction and no listing confirmation emails. I send out EOA emails and no response. Well...I finally decided to check out my spam folder and there they were...all of my missing emails....even "question for the seller" emails.

I normally stay 2 versions behind AOL's current software because of the bugs that always pop up in the latest versions, but I did make an exception and installed 9.0 and am I happy I did. It's totally different than anything they've had before and the way they handle spam is great. The spam folder and blocking options are great. It wasn't until I started looking through the spam folder that I discovered that "MAILER-DAEMON" return messages are seen by AOL's filters as spam in about 90% of the instances. You will never see these messages with earlier versions. Occasionally a legitimate email will land in the spam pile because of some keyword used by the sender. It's now possible to retrieve these messages.

The light at the end of the tunnel will turn out to be an oncoming train.

I am an AOL user for 7 yrs and this new feature I find is great. All Spam emails are sent straight to the spam file, I am a 9.0 user (always upgrade when possible), I have checked through my spam file and never found anything that should have come to me.
I also get all my mail, guess I am just a happy camper!!!!
Check your settings, you might have a box checked that should not be checked, but as for me I just left it the way AOL set it. I dont play with certain settings.
I know I hear also lots of people don't like AOL., they say mail doesnt come to them, well I don't know about that because I get all my mail. I never had any problems with AOL, I find them to be a stable server and one with lots of good features.
I have cable hook up with optium, but I still sign on with AOL., just happen to like it.

I am not happy you installed AOL 9.0. AOL has a huge problem with e-mails being sent by sellers to their buyers bouncing back as you are not on their mailing list and cannot send mail to this person. I get this 4-5 times a week now. It get's pretty disqusting receiving e-mails from these accounts asking me why I am not responding to them, when it is their damm AOL that is the problem. It even blocks it if you go through ebay's ask a question. AOL 9.0 stinks.
