Over the past couple of months I have been getting an inordinate number of announcements from UnfairTrade (Oh, excuse me, that's SquareTrade) letting me know that the deadbeat I just FVF'd has opened an ST case about me.

What I want to know is this: Is this a remedy that is *automatically supplied* to a deadbeat when they protest their summary execution-by-FVF to eBay Support? Do they get a cute little link they can click on so they can go nail (they think) the Big Bad Seller Who Just Done Them Wrong?

Because I'm having a hard time believing these weenies actually did some research to find ST. Someone must be telling them.

So, how about it?

Signed,

Mr. Melvin

It wouldn't surprise me, after all, squaretrade is charging $20 for this, I am sure ebay gets a cut. Plus, if it gets worked out, fvf may not need to be paid. I can't see why ebay wouldn't advertise this (plus anyone calling eBay "bay" has no chance of finding out about square trade on their own)

STOP-It depends on how many NPB you have on your record-if you have two already and getting a third, ebay will throw you off-the 20 bucks would be well worth it if it works out in the buyers favor
