I would have jewelry to wear everyday for over a year and never wear the same thing twice. It would be such a tragedy.

I'd do more writing. I'd finally put all those old photos in scrapbooks. And I'd find a way to get out and be around people for part of every day--maybe volunteer, or work in one of the many shops in our arty town, or go to work for a non-profit half-time.
But it would be hard to cure this addiction to selling!

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
You read about all these terrorists --- most of them came here legally, but
they hung around on these expired visas, some for as long as 10 -15 years.
Now, compare that to Blockbuster; you are two days late with a video and
those people are all over you. Let's put Blockbuster in charge of
immigration.

LOL. The only problem with that would be that Blockbuster would deport them back to where they came from but still insist they are here in the United States. Blockbuster can't even check in a returned video properly, I wouldn't trust them with people.

I would hope that Vendio would become an auction venue, they are really good at what they do now. Otherwise I would have to go back to work until Social Security kicks in.

Well, I wouldn't have to call my son and have him check my emails for Question to Seller while I'm in Elko next week.
Could just gamble my little brains right out and not even think about eBay. Which is gonna happen anyway!
And the thrift shop where I work would suddenly have more inventory than we'd know what to do with.

Hey ebayauctionguy, I think you should start the rumor that Kerry had a baby with Fonda. I am sure that would be great fun for someone with your mentality. Stuff like your flag isn't going to work this time around. I hope you keep posting stuff like this because its only hurting your leaders. Keep up your good work. Like I say this is just my thoughts and who the heck cares anyway.

Just what I do now, web sites - eBay is to us, more of a promo site, than anything else now.
I'd go to other auction sites, which would spring up, save money over eBay costs, get out from under the endless CA rules of eBay, and enjoy posting on auctions more!
Honestly, if eBay shut down tomorrow, for my part, I could care less - in fact it would probably be good, and remove the strangulation hold eBay now has on most of the auction business.
BUT, I don't see eBay shutting down any time soon.....Too bad!

If Ebay shut down today, it would take about a week for a dozen replacements to enter the arena. I would guess that Yahoo and Amazon would be the first to change their business plans and get serious about online auctions. It wouldn't surprise me a bit to see Vendio and AOL get together and open a site. One thing is for sure, if Ebay were to shut down, it would not be the end of major league on line auctions.
The light at the end of the tunnel will turn out to be an oncoming train.
