When are we going to be able to add the additions words to the titles on our Vendio Listings? I have been revising them via Ebay all morning.

why patience? Vendio knew that it was coming and should of been ready for our use when Ebay initiated it. Why do we have to wait 5 additional days?

I am sure it isn't that simple. They way Ebay works, they are constantly changing their system, and their final version may not integrate with Vendio.
I would love for it to be simple as well, and immediate, but at least Vendio is working to make the changes promptly. They still are the best service you can find out there.

My last job was as an Oracle Developer for a large manufacturing company.
It is not as easy as it seems to change all of the parameters through the system, and make sure processes and business rules will not break.
Typically, once the change is initiated, it is done on a separate development system, and is tested to make sure other features do not fail.
The changes are documented and moved into a TEST environment, where the changes that will move into the Production environment can be fully tested to make sure no other systems or functionality is affected.
Sometimes there are cycles of events, such as backup, purging, and interfaces that run at intervals, that have to run before the changes can be fully expected not to fail.
The full listing, archiving, unarchiving and other processes have to be tested.
It would not be prudent to let the Production Interface, that we all work with, have a major failure because something seemingly unrelated was not tested.
I am impatient for changes just like everyone else, but also understand the need to test new code and processes before risking the integrity of the whole system.
I was also the sole person responsible for putting all new code in Test and Production, and even when tested, I have seen times when it did not work correctly, and had to be backed out immediately.
It was not a nice situation to have errant data, or failed processes in the Production data tables.

In Vendo Sales Manager, there is a link to subtitles that says:
February 20 Update: our testing is wrapping up and we expect to deploy 55 character titles and subtitle support Monday morning. Two things to note as you prepare to use this new feature:
- Sales Manager Pro will require a 'category sync' restart to synchronize the changes for the Title. Subtitle support will require you to get a SMPro application update
- eBay motors does not yet support 55 character titles. Our tools will not limit the title length and until the support is there at eBay any title longer than 45 character may error.
