OK I need help !! but don't I always I have this interesting hmmm what to call it,small vase with stand or something to put pens/pencils in(kinda reminds me of a wall pocket but it's on a stand)...anyways it has a sticker on the side and only half of it is there ....can anyone guess the maker from the half tag ....the bottom is marked 208/10.The brown and yellow striped pottery vase? stands 4 inches at the tallest point...the stand it's in feels like soft aluminum and the handle has braided plastic around it....1960's ? 1970's ?

Tis obviously an S-CAR-GO cart of the taki-junque persuasion...

CNBC: "Unless the economy adds at least 2.3 million jobs by the end of the year, Bush will go down as the first president since Hoover to preside over a four-year term in which total employment fell."

Beautiful. 50's.
Is the interior enamel?
Possibly to brew tea, fix the end of the metal chain between the two long pieces and swing the tea ball over the hook fixture. pour it out on the long end by holding the wrapped handle.

I know you probably didn't pay much for that; but you never know, it could be worth nothing.

Come to think about it what ever it is and however old it is, it definitely has art deco aspirations, so putting "deco" in your title would certainly help its electability.

It reminds me of some small pottery vases I've had that were numbered and made in Germany. The label looks familiar but I can't remember it......... _ _lhra?
It does look 50's era to me.

toasted, it could be _ _lbra also. I know I've seen it somewhere.
You can try keywords such as Eames era, modern, modernist, retro, deco, and Art Pottery.
During the 50's and 60's they made several items that were put in those wire metal containers such as drinking glass sets, holders for napkins and pens, and also some of those plastic/fibreglass? flower pots. Some of the metal was brass or brass plated.

It looks like it might be a 50's cigarette holder. You could try contacting a tobacciana expert.
