I was just interested about how many of you regularly do a bulk e-mailing to your customers, if it helps with sales, what software do you use and what horror stories if any you have had.
Thanks

I believe you're not allowed to do it per ebay rules. I know I have been put on people's email list without my permission, and I have put those sellers on my "never buy from again" list.

On the flip side, I would like to know if there's a program that will create an email list for those people who ask me "can you notify me when you get more widgets in". Right now I just file their email in a folder in Outlook and email them directly, but something automated that I could use in my website would be nice

I use Vendio now as my web hosting provider. They have a mailing list feature. Check to see if yours does.
