I know I'll probably get a lot of interesting responses...but do the letters "T.P.U." above the price printed on a dust jacket have any special meaning? Thanks for any relevant info...

I have no clue. Have you tried the Ebay book selling message board?

I'll give it a try, roadsmith, but, in the past, I've had better results/more positive responses with the good folks here than on the eBay boards.

I did askjeeves.com it sent me to a site for acronyms and 12 were listed for TPU. One seem logical Transitional Pricing Unit. No clue what that means or even if it is correct!

Kind folks on the eBay Book Sellers board came through. If there are any other idiots (other than myself) who lost sleep over this burning question...The "T.P.U." referred to the title of the book..."Trails Plowed Under". These boards CAN be quite educational...
