this case is hardshell and measures 5" across by 5 1/2" high and 2" wide. these four light covers are inside. red, yellow, green and blue. you can see through them. are these for some type of light in the military? any help would be appreciated here. the case markings is from our local air force station which is now closed.

My guess is that the lenses attach to a signal light.

They are light filters.
They increase your ability to see under different conditions,fog,rain,etc.
And they decrease your chances of being spotted under different conditions.
Yours are for a larger than a flashlight application.
