Because the previous forum got so darn long and so much off-topic, I'm starting this to followup.
the Aussie buyer was a prank. i contacted Ebay and they don't know the email. The email keeps bouncing back, undeliverable.

Your prospective buyer looks to be an active ebay member with very recent activity on his account and it looks like you got UPS mixed up with USPS when he contacted you. He was most likely asking a legit question.
On the other thread you have posted his e-mail address so I suggested that you may wish to delete it from the thread but that's entirely up to you. I only made the suggestion because I don't think it's fair to put his address on a public board.
I'm also a bit amazed that ebay got back to you so quickly (within a few minutes) when others have so much trouble getting a response when they have a serious problem which yours didn't seem to be.
