Cheryl, Stopwhining, et al? ...
Here is a cup, approximately
4 inches tall ...
any of you recognize the mark
and was this used for tea, or
maybe wine? ...

I can read Japanese-on the bottom it reads

this is a japanese teacup for green tea.
the characters are kansi about mountain and valley,i think it must be the maker mark

The markings on the bottom read " Stolen from Yung Chin's Chineese Caffeteria - San Francisco, Ca."
