Okay, folks; here's another one. Sorry to ask all these questions, but I can't figure this out for the LIFE of me!!!
I want to relist something, but NOT in the same listing format it was before; i.e., I don't want to list it under auction, but in our store. How do I go about doing that?
Also, I note that when I go into our Active listings, there's a little box, and a "delete" button. Is it REALLY that easy to delete a store item?? That would be SO cool if it were!! Does anyone know if it is??
AND, if I may, one more question... How does the checkout work for everyone? I'd appreciate hearing people's experiences with it; trying to decide if we want to use it or just stick with PayPal - any help would be greatly appreciated! Can't figure out what the advantages are...

About how the checkout system works: I don't use it. I have a standard e-mail message I send my buyers, cut and paste, and personalize it with a paragraph at the top, telling them how much they owe broken down by high bid and shipping: e.g. "Congratulations on winning this fine widget! Your total comes to $27.95 (18.00 + 9.95 priority shipping from zip 92549), and payment is due BY APRIL 28th." Then comes the pasted stuff. I break down the final total due because it answers some question they may have about "high" shipping costs, when they know what zip it's coming from.
I looked into Ebay's checkout, but the box for the "messge" I could send won't divide into paragraphs and it looks clunky (to me). So I go the extra mile with my EOA message.
Others here are selling lots more than I do and are using various checkouts with great success. It all depends on how much time you have to deal with EOA. I have the time. The BIG sellers here probably don't, and that's okay too. They're great people!

Compared to some of the others here, I don't have a lot of experience selling on
Ebay. But, I'll give you my opinion.
I like vendio's checkout for my auctions that have shipping rates included. The buyer fills it out, gets my contact info, can leave a message, send payment and never e-mail me. But, I did edit my WBN with a statement asking people to use checkout, but telling them they can e-mail me directly if they prefer.
Most of them do use it. I've had 2 people complain that it was complicated. But I've had others say that they like the checkout. (You can't please everybody)

my 2 cents....I used to use Vendio's checkout but about 70% of people didn't use it and I had to manually go in and fill in their info.
Now you can automatically have Paypal's payment info inserted into Vendio's Post Sale area. I have found that ebay's checkout with the yellow Paypal button is far superior to getting paided faster than numerous emails back and forth.
I still do checks and money orders manually.
As far as the delete button....I'm assuming that you are taking about the delete on Vendio? If so, that will delete the record but will not end your auction or store listing. You have to do that through ebay. If I'm wrong...please correct me.

Thanks, everyone!!!
And I have a really stupid question (or at least, it feels really stupid at this point in time - I'm numb at this point trying to get everything to work - I'm having so many little issues that I haven't even been able to list anything for three days - ARGH!) lol!
HOW do I get Paypal's payment info inserted into Vendio's Post Sale area? I like the idea you mentioned, Cramer, of having eBay's checkout, but looked through eBay's page, and can't figure out how to enable THAT, either... I'm going crazy!!! You guys are great, and if you can help me from bouncing around on those padded walls, I'd appreciate it!

You cannot relist an auction to your store. You can relist to fixed price, but you will have to fill in the price again. Or from FP to regular auctions, same way.
You can only make new store listings or relist store listings to store listings.

Thanks stonecold - but I'm obviously way too tired to be making sense!! I meant here; on the forums... Can I just change for the forums themselves?
