I am finally get used to the new MY EBAY...still can't use it very easily for shipping since format is not shown for sold items but just saw something odd in an auction I have ending tonight...it shows "Watchers" as " -1" ..anyone else have that happen and HOW can it happen?

Hi Neglus,
I have watchers on several of mine but none with a minus sign. Can't quite figure out what that might mean...
Maybe if someone takes it off watch that changes the count? But how would that end up a negative number?
Puzzling...
If you have ViewTracker maybe you can check out the auction there. It will show you the watching history.

I had to drop View Tracker - it was really a cool toy but too costly to monitor all of my items and I got too busy to really digest what it was telling me. Darn! Guess I'll never know why this happened..maybe someone emphatically decided to drop the watch and it got double counted? Guess it's JAG (just another glitch).

If you use Vendio as I do. You will know exactly how many hits you have on any auction. I get tired of you leaches that come on this chat room & then knock Vendio or don't use it.

WOW! where did that come from? I pay Vendio over $100/month, use it faithfully for listing and postsale management for my 3,000+ listings and rarely complain....I am talking about My Ebay 2.0 having a glitch Sanmar..."watchers" are not the same as "hits" and Vendio does not track "watchers".

Neglus...The answer is simple. You have a watcher, but he has one eye closed, hence the -1

LOL Sparkz...well the item didn't sell. Maybe it would have done better if buyers had both eyes closed LOL..speaking of which..TIME FOR BED! G'nite - this "leach" is leaving the chat room...BUT..in the immortal words of your Governor...I'LL BE BACK!

I must be a leech, because I don't use Vendio.
I did, however, do some of the usability testing for the recent improvements such as the Gallery at Vendio's palatial offices in San Bruno, so...does that count?

<---leech.
I use a program that has greater capabilities that more accurately suit my needs. I can list in other countries, in other denominations, I have better reporting and from what I can tell from other posts here seems to be less buggy. Is there any particular reason that I should keep these types of benefits secret from others that are seeking them?
That said... I believe the topic at hand Sanmar is Watchers, not Hits.

I had some high priced auction end this last Sunday and I was really surprised at the number of watchers that came and went. That number would go up and then down. It happened about 4 or 5 times.
Boy I'm lucky if I update my watch list onces a year??
Maybe we can't trust these numbers that much.

Go back to bed sanmar. Maybe with a few more hours of sleep you'll see that no one downed Vendio. The thread was not about hits but about watchers. Geeze, lighten up.
I use Vendio, but I still complain. Does that make me a leach, too? Oh, I hope so!

sanmar- you really need to get some help. you love to give such offhanded remarks, but many times you respond to something without really reading the thread to begin with.
this has to do with watchers, not a hit counter. hits are different than watches. get your facts straight before you go off the deep end and sound stupid.
