If I sell a widget and have 2 of them and offer the second to the high bidder - Would ebay say this is illegal?

If the bidder wanted the 2, how can she pay thru Paypal.

don't want to step on any toes

When I have that happen, I put it in my store at a fixed price and then the buyer can use BIN. If you don't have a store, do a fixed price auction for the second widget.

Anyone can send any amount of money to anyone else at any time through Paypal. Just tell her how much to send to your account.

The same way bidder #1 did.
