I have sent many things to Great Britain by Global Express Mail from here (USA) where you can track it on the internet.
Many of the parcels seem to be held in British customs for a very long time, on three occasions it was a month, one two weeks and now a parcel is still being held for a week.
Is this customary procedure?
They always arrive there in four or five business days, but then customs comes along and there is a long wait for the buyer.
I have always had super buyers from the United Kingdom, they don't seem concerned and take it in stride. I guess I am the worrier.
With the new system, we get a copy of the customs label along with the Global Express Mail Label, so I suppy all information the buyer needs.
I sure would appreciate any input about this. Thanks,

The last package I sent Global Express took four days to go from California to Berkshire, UK. USPS showed tracking all the way to the buyer's address.
I'm curious... How do you know it's being held up in Customs?
