I am listing several cross stitch books. What I want to know, does anyone when doing auctions put in the title different ways to spell it.
Cross Stitch, Crossstitch, crosstitch. are some of the different ways it is spelled.
What I though about doing is in the title I would for one auction put Cross Stitch, next auction Crossstitch and another auction crosstitch then in the description type "While your here check my other auctions for more Cross Stitch books" That way I would get at least one auction in each catagory no matter which way it is spelled. I hope this makes sense.

I sell cross stitch booklets and magazines and most of my listings show Cross Stitch Pattern Book-(name of booklet) or name of the magazine (example: For the Love of Cross Stitch-March 1999).
I sold some kits and completed cross stitch pictures a while back. I used cross stitch which is, of course, the correct spelling.
If you have room in the title you might consider putting in CrossStitch. There are a few solds on eBay spelling it that way.
BTW, I discovered a lot of the people who looked at mine were searching on the name of the designer. I realize you're selling a book but if the writer also designs charts you might try to fit their name in too.

Libra...I have the same problem with tea pots and ash trays. I haven't listed either since the titles were expanded to 55 characters, but in the future I will try to squeeze both spellings into the title.

I usually look at the most common spelling on Ebay, put that in the title, then put the other spelling in the description. Wall pockets, wallpockets, etc.

Thanks for your suggestions. I think I tried them all. I only listed 6 auctions as they take a long time. Jewelry auctions are easy but these have to include so much information.
