I once bought the whole rack of leather jackets from a (real, legit) retail store. Same high priced sticker STILL on them. They were clearing them out at $50.00 each. They too still had the security device on them. I mentioned all the DIFFERENT sizes in the Auction,,Guy in Australia bought them ALL from me in one shot. No, they were NOT stolen. Was the seller from Australia?

Same ole Stuff.

i purchased an expensive sweater from a major department store last christmas. when i started to wrap it, the tag (the one with the ink inside) was still on the sweater. i had to take it back to the store to have it removed and still no alarm went off. what good are they (security devices) if you can leave the store with them?

Before Woolworths went OOB, their outlet stores closed. I bought several shirts for 50 cents each, all had security tags. There were no security gates or tag removers at these stores so the tags were always left on.

When I got them home I realized I could not remove the tage without damaging the shirts so I took them to a Woolworths to have them removed. They were still working, the alarm sounded when I walked in the store.

Things are sold with security tags, frequently.

This is why I boycott Wal-mart.

We have had several legitimate products that had security devices.

Sometimes during store closeout's, or bulk discontinued items, they do not always get the tags or cables off.
