I just received an email that said, "I notice your widget doesn't have any bids?" Not sure what he is trying to ask me. I just put up the items 24 hours ago. LOL

To which you might reply: Please feel free to correct this situation.

He probably wanted you to come to your senses and lower the price.

He was probably sure you would lower the price once you also noticed there were no bids.

He might also be harvesting e-mails for profit.

Tonight I got "please tell me why you are selling this item".

I responded that I am redecorating and this doesn't fit into my kitchen decor anymore.

Her response was "okay, I just don't want anything coming into my house that has bad vibes".

So that buyer probably won't be bidding on any massagers in the future. :-P

When I first started selling, I had someone ask me once why I was selling an item. I just got done dealing with a really doozy of a bidder so I wasn't exactly in a great mood. My response was, "Because it's the gawd awful ugliest thing I've ever laid my eyes on. I wouldn't have this monstrosity in my house. That's why. So, if "ugly" is what you like, please feel free to bid. Thank you for asking." Honestly, the widget was really quite lovely.

Believe it or not, that person bid on and won the widget. She emailed me after she got it and said she couldn't believe I thought it was ugly and thanked me for offering it. I had to email her back and tell her I was just kidding about the ugly-thing. I explained to her why I said it and we both had a good laugh!
