Hi, all. I want to search items bid on, whether won or not, for a particular bidder in the last 5 months. I know this person has bid (and won occasionally) in January, but when I search all auctions bid on for the bidder, nothing at all comes up. Is there a time limit there for searches?

Good morning Adele,

The search only goes back 30 days. You can see earlier auctions (some but not all) by looking at their feedback, received and left for others.

Edited to add: Looking at feedback wouldn't, of course, show auctions they didn't win.

If you know you gave FB and none shows, then maybe eBay's got a glitch right now or maybe you have the name wrong? Check the FB you have left for others to verify that you did indeed leave it ( and cross check the bidders name while you are at it).

Neglus--that did the trick, thanks! I now see that my sale to this person is the only one he's won.

Bummer that we can only search 30 days back. I appreciate the help from both of you. ~Adele
