I bought another case so I have enough for my lifetime I think - and I'll share the seller with you guys.

Be forwarned that this is very thin tape but it sticks to everything! It doesn't fit in your tape gun either.

It is the closest thing I've found to equal Priority Mail tape.

If anyone has a Target Store near them they offer a thin full size roll tape (but strong like priority) for 1.00 a roll but when you go buy 4 or 5 rolls cause they are out of stock alot. Sometimes they offer a six pack of it with a tape dispenser for 5.88.Thats almost aways out of stock. On the bright side I got the lady at the post office to give me 2 rolls of priority tape today , so they must not be running low yet.

Great price on the tape, but the shipping calculator came back with $21.88 to ship to Nevada That's ever $2 per roll with shipping.

I'll have to double check the size I buy from Viking for $1.68 with free shipping.

I know - the shipping is high but these are very heavy! The plus side is with wider tape I use less tape. Seems like the last time I bought it was in a dutch auction and for 2 boxes I only paid a couple of bucks more for the second box.

The weirdest thing I've found about tape is that if you use it on a used box that not all tape will stick to it. Well it might at first but I have left them sitting overnight or something and came back to find the tape not adhearing to it anymore. I winced to think of that happening enroute.

Ok, I hear you - "used boxes". But if you're building a box to ship something really big in, you want a tape that sticks! I think it's the oil in your hands or something...I know when I was doing research on tape that they specify some tape for used boxes.

Has anybody ever heard of a way of cutting rolls of tape in half? I know that some tape companies can do this but ltray tried to cut one of these in half and f***** up the whole roll of tape. The seller said he didn't know of any way to cut it either.

I buy 3M Tape #3850 at Costco, You could pull a truck with this stuff. I use it because when I ship a big box of china to Replacements Ltd., I don't want the bottom to fall out. It comes 6 rolls in a pkg for about $20.00.

Hey Toasted, thanks for the tip on Target.
I went over there today and got some. I either go through so much tape, or I have a tape ghost in my house!!! Whew...was nice getting it on sale!

your welcome neroter12 ! Target is high on somethings and cheap on others ...it would have been the last place i'd look for tape. I helped my aunt with greeting cards there for about a year. When they put things on clearance they really mark them down. I bought 8 tape recording machines last year for under 5 bucks a piece (the small one like doctors use to record there notes on) and sold them for 29.99 a piece within 2 days. Computer things like printer they mark down pretty quick also. After Christmas you can pick up the good tape with Christmas design and Christmas bubble mailers at 90% off....Save them for next year or not lol I used a Christmas bubble mailer a couple of times this year....just call me cheap !!

Hi,
I have been purchasing my tape from www.tapeagent.com for many years and am very happy with the price and quality. They have hundreds of types of tape so that you are sure to get the size and thickness that suits you. Hope this helps anyone who is interested....

Here is a site I found a few months ago but haven't ordered from them. The prices are great but I'm not too sure about the shipping costs. The cost on a 1500 ft roll is incredible. If I ever get serious aobut ordering from them I will email and ask about the shipping cost first.
