Anybody know if they did anything in brass?
I have this brass mouse that looks just like one of their designs and I cant figure out if its a take-off, or one of theirs. I did research it...but found nothing to say they ever created anything in brass.
This looks like brass, right? This was one of the search pages. But why do I think somebody doing pottery would not do brass?

It looks like one of their creations, but it must be a take-off. I've never heard of them producing anything but pottery/ceramics.

Thanks Max. Thats what I would think! But that pic is from a googled search that lists freeman mcfarlin pieces?
I will search some more. I'll let the collectors/sellers know if I find out anything!

I found a picture of your mouse in my California Potteries book. It looks like it is brass, BUT, pictured above it is a gold cat. The mouse in the picture is marked 142 Anthony USA 1970.

That is in fact an Anthony piece of pottery. Anthony worked for Freeman McFarlin. Most of the Anthony that I have seen is done in the gold leaf. He usually signs his name "Anthony" on the bottom. However, if the pieces were a pair, perhaps only one item is marked. I do not know if he did anything in brass.
