Ebay used to charge my checking account one time, usually on the 20th of every month unless it was on a weekend or holiday, and then it would be the next business day.

As many of you know, ebay has been billing quite erratically over the last several months, and finally it caught up with me.

In June, Ebay used their Direct Debit twice. On June 16, they charged $451.63, then just two weeks later they charged $519.17. Well, as a nice welcome suprise from my vacation time off, I come back to $50 in overdraft protection charges. I have used eBay for almost 6 years now, and have never in my history had this problem.

Fortunately, the bank reversed the charges since I have never had a NSF check or charge.

What upsets me the most is eBay's inconsistent charges. What was a regular scheduled process has become a clusterf*ck of a disaster.

Up until March, Ebay has charged my account on the 20th of each month, but since March 2004, this is their dates of Direct Debit, hardly consistent.

Any idea when eBay will finally resolve this problem? I just changed my payment form over to them deducting from my Paypal Debit card, so that I don't get hit with bank fees. I would rather eBay have their charge denied than have me in the red because they cannot manage their payment system properly.

I got an 'ebay invoice' for June, just the last couple weeks, I had made a big payment IN June, and the invoice says $3.57! I was happy, but went to invoice, and it was NOT $3.57, far from it.

Yeah they've been messed on billing for awhile.

I usually have my July bill by now. Fortunately, I have a business account and that's where the eBay charges come out of. I keep money in for the invoice and if they don't take it out for that month, it's still in there when they finally do.

Holy moly, rusty! Your ebay fees are about the same as my gross sales!

I think Ebay got me this month. I usually get my invoice a few days after the 15th of every month (they are never consistent with the dates) but here it is August 1 and still no invoice.

The problem with making payments via Paypal if you are setup with CC or debit is that whenever it is time to bill for you normal method, they will still take the money even though you made a Paypal payment. I contacted PS support and they said NEVER pay with Paypal if you are setup with an automatic plan.
