So, I have this bidder. Paid for item promptly. The email me a few days later on 7/22 at 6:30am asking me status. I email them back on 7/22 at 1:30pm that the item is being packed and shipped that day. On 7/26 9:05 am I get another message from bidder claiming they emailed me 3 times to get info on their package and I ignored them. I email them back 7/26 at 11:30 am telling them I did respond, and even forwarded the email with my response. I email them again 7/26 at 3pm asking them to confirm receiving my earlier message. Today, 7/30 I receive a message from bidder telling me they received their item and left feedback. It was a positive, but reads, "product as described, but not a quick responder to email." Though it was a positive, and I could have just left it alone, I felt I was cheated on this one. I emailed this bidder back each and every time within hours of receiving their emails. I have sent them copies of all correspondence and asked them to leave follow up feedback that their original message was false. I also couldn't help but ask them why they left this when in fact, I did answer them quickly each and every time and sent them proof of my correspondence accordingly. I also asked why they held me to a double standard, when I replied within a few hours, and claimed I was not quick in response, and then they take 4 days to respond to my email.

Yes, I know... full moon. I've been getting tons of emails with, "Where is my item??? blah blah blah from people who paid within the last two days. I will tell you right now, that this same time last year I was inundated with about 8 negatives during a month period because of a mixture of retaliatory negs, and impatient people who jumped the gun within a week of payment claiming I took to long to get their item out to them. One person left a neg claiming that their item was crappy. The item was a Nike article of clothing that retails for $75.00 and the person received it for only $25.00. Brand new with all of the original tags attached, model # and full description. Go figure... The freaks come out in the summer.

The freaks come out in the summer.

What if it's not just the summer?

What if this is the way eBay is going to be from now on, and what if it gets worse?

They don't pay because they don't have to pay.

They lie because they don't have to tell the truth.

Yes that's what I'm wondering, cuz this full moon has been lasting just a little too long I'm afraid.
