Ok, maybe I am too honest and think too much like a buyer. Here is what happened. I have a sealed widget that sold. Recieved the payment from the buyer. Got ready to ship it. Before doing that I unsealed it (big mistake) and found a piece broken which is easily fixed with superglue. Doesn't effect the performance or the appearance. It's just NOT in perfect condition. I started Monday and emailed the buyer 2 times, stating the situation and asked them if they wanted me to send it as is, fix it or return their money. No response. I also sent a messae through ebay, appologizing for all the emails and messages from me but I would like to get something in the mail to them by friday.
I think I did all I can do. If I don't hear from this person by next week, what would you do in my case??????

I have been in that situation before. What I did is set myself a time limit (say 10:15 today)and if I don't hear from them I refund the money with a note attached saying exactly what happened and that I didn't want to sell them something that wasn't right. The last time I did that the person asked me to send another invoice, they wanted it anyway. Got great feedback about how honest I was. Everybody walked away happy.
Just my 2 cents. Change please.
