What software do you guys use to manage all of your inventory? Did any of you try "Spoonfeeder" or any other program that is selling on eBay?

Hi Auctioncure,

I use Vendio to manage my inventory. When I create a listing, it's in my Pending file. That's where it stays until I launch it.

When it closes I send an invoice that is copied and pasted. The buyer pays, I send the item. That's it.

If it closes without a bid I can relist from Vendio.

Quick and simple, works for me.

Lucy

I do the same as Lucy. However if you have several of the same or similar items you sale on a regular basis, Vendio has a section named "Inventory" where you can copy the original auction and launch from there. It will automatically keep track of the count you have in inventory.

I have a small size consignment business and we got whole lot of different items from different consigners here. We assign each item by first 4 letters of customer's name followed by 4 digit number. We have to tag each item with it's tracking number and put them on the corresponding shelves. Right now, I use Excel and Access to log everything in there so my accountant can access it and balance the books. Do you guys know of any inventory management software that could maybe help me save time?

I use MarketWorks (formerly AuctionWorks).

My second choice would be Vendio.

Distantly followed by one of the eBay solutions (SAPRO or TurboLister)

Why use a solution from a tiny company that won't be around to support the product after eBay makes one of their near-weekly changes? Don't get locked into anything where you don't have absolute control over your own data.

I use Microsoft Excel for inventory & sales. I tried other programs, but there was always something missing. So I just created a simple spread sheet. The worksheet has separate tabs for each month. Every month's new purchase are entered with an inventory #, date purchased, "category" & brief description, cost & status. Then when items sell, I search by the inventory number & enter sold date, status (sold), paid shipping amount, actual shipping & sales tax. That way everything is there & I can sort by any column for reports & taxes.
