I'm considering changing my ebay user id. Does anyone have any thoughts as to timing? Should I wait until I don't have any auctions running. Or does it make any difference?

Hi Cherished,

I don't think it matters very much. The little eBay name-changed icon will show for 30 days.

I would do it right now while we in our summer slump. You don't want your name change icon showing up during the busy season.

Why would you want to CHANGE your name? Start a NEW account. Are you thinking this will give you a fresh start on feed back?

Give Craigslist.org a try. List anywhere. Take a L@@K see for yourself. Not just for local stuff. You can still ship.

Jack - no my feedback's fine. I just wanted to change my id to match the name my business is registered under. The business name just "sounds" more like a seller name than my current ebay name does.
