Has anyone stopped receiving paypal payment notices when a buyer pays, as mine have since Monday the 9th?... Paypal says it's me, (of course) and are not willing to investigate why notices stopped suddenly..My spam filter nor firewall is an issue since nothing has changed in 5 years..
Thanks all,
Katie

Same here, one arrived within minutes, one was over 24 hours late. This has happened to me before, so I always check my Paypal account so as not to miss any payments.

Hi Katie
Yes I also have not received many emails saying the buyer paid, I had to go into paypal and check to see who paid and who didn't. I found that 6 emails had not been sent to me. This problem happend on Aug 8th, and 9th so now I check myself.

I'm not receiving any notices from them at all.. including when I do a bank transfer..They could do some fancy footwork in my paypal account and I would have no record of it at all.. Scary, huh?

Sounds like your received the standard, "it's not our problem to fix so we won't" same old canned response from PayPal. All the more reason to begin searching for alternatives for receiving payments. And for the outrageous fees they charge, you would think they would work to fix their site.

A Canadian buyer says he paid with PayPal yesterday--still no record of it in PayPal account and no e-mail of course. I'll give it another day, then e-mail the buyer to see if he goofed.

Had a buyer do 2 BIN's yesterday. They paid both with PP. I was notified immediately for the one. The other took over 12 hours to get the notification. The only way I knew they paid was to check my PP account!!! Louise

Roadsmith: If I get a buyer who says they paid and it is not in my account, I always ask them to send me their confirmation from Paypal, and every time I have found a mistake on my email address, so it sits there unclaimed. I think that the problem is not with the payment showing in the account, but notification of it by Paypal. If your buyer says they paid, I would be pretty sure that there is a mistake.
