I just noticed it. Isn't this grand. I wonder how many abuses this is going to create. Thanks, eBay. Just another way to make selling a real PIA.

Haven't seen it yet but I guess they are making it easy for someone to report a vero. I don't understand vero. If it is fake I understand it but all the other like Shabby Chic is stupid. Also the look a likes out there. So what if they resemble someones real item the person that buys yours certainly can't afford the real thing, otherwise they would have bought theirs.

Where on the auction page are you finding this link? I just checked through a few and didn't see it. I have auctions launching now and it didn't show up on the first two. I'll see if it's on any of the others.

What's really going to be bad about this is that it will put ideas into people's heads. We all know that eBay does little if any verifying the reports. They just shut down the auction and you have to jump through hoops prooving your innocence. Hoepfully, Google will develop an auction site and it will be a viable alternative to eBay. They're going way overboard with all this crap.
Edited to add: I have antiques up and the button is there as well. How is a 1920's faucet set going to be a Vero violation? I'm sure this button will be used for all sorts of things.

Classic...I have auctions launching every 15 minutes tonight, and it's not on any of them. Not on my old ones either. Are you and I the only 2 honest sellers on Ebay?

Mine are still there! Wonder if they're testing something? If so, it's not the least bit funny. It makes you look like a crook or something. Tell Ralphie I need him to take a bite out of someone at eBay!!!

That was my thought. Either they are in the process of a rollout, or they are testing a new "enhancment" which they intend to roll out soon. I wonder if it will only be for certain categories, or system wide? Looks like they don't trust their sellers anymore, and are enlisting the help of their thoroughly honest and trustworthy bidders to bring us scoundrels to justice. If Ashcroft has replaced Meg as CEO, it sure wasn't in the news.

Well,,,,,I am verified HONEST! None, of those nasty things are on ANY of MY auctions. They MUST be WATCHING you types.
e bay, get back to the basics and screw all these stupid and worthless so called Enhancements.
The Only enhancement needed is the name of the State where the non reading, will not ship "items" is signed up from. Like NEW YORK, Los Angeles,,,,,,,etc. United States, that, at this point in time is just plain Not to even bother mentioning WORTHLESS......
Oh well,,,,,,
and the beat goes on,,,,,,,,,,,and,,,,,there ARE alternatives........see below......

most newbies don't even know what the heck VeRO is!
... and what about "PI" items? "Prohibited Items" ... ebay ended one of our listings whilst I slept last nite, ... for a Daisy Trail Boss toy rifle ... says we're not allowed to list BB guns ... well, this isn't a bb gun, it's an 'air pop' ... i quit.

You probably should have listed it in the collectables section.
You can usually find at least 2 or 3 working firearms there on any given day.
You just have to lie a little, sometimes you don't even have to lie.
