Not old experts. experts of old Japanese dolls (grin) I now am in the possesion of what I think is a very old doll (I can post fotos later) The glass case she is in is litterally falling into pieces. Looks like over the years the glue from the wooden joints has disinegrated. The glass is paper think. (Reminds me of some of the stuff I inherested from my great grandma) I don't think it has been moved in over 30 years.
Would it decrease the value of the doll and display case if I glued it back together? What kind of glue would be appropriate for a wood/glass case of this age? I usually use white glue for wood. when a piece is very old, I use it very sparingly.
