OK is this a table runner or something else ? and if so is it Jewish,Hindu,Japanese design lol help !! It's 25 inches wide and 117 inches long (7ft. 5in.) feels like a soft red velour ,kinda like a Christmas stocking so maybe it's for the holidays ? also any guesses on age...I'm thinking 60's -70's cause of the gold borders

Looks like the fancy version of those diaper things sumo wrestlers wear, perhasp the going to town party sumo diaper.
