Not that I do anything with them except "delete", but I am getting ebay notifications about items that sold at 9 am PDT! They must have had a lot of listings on the half price day!

Well I am glad to see that they don't allow human remains!!!! I have't sent an album of postcards to Italy but I sure have sent a lot of individual cards...and some of them even made it to their destination! You can't ship global priority and registered mail can only be insured to $40..I have had the most delivery problems in Italy - it's a shame too because I got some very nice prices for cards sold last winter. I'm still trying to decide whether it's worth it to list Italian cards!

Lucy,
I looked over the list very quickly and I may have missed it, but I didn't see any prohibition against sending alcoholic beverages to Italy. You should have included a bottle of two buck chuck. Those Italians are probably desperate for a quality wine for a change

Sparkz,
I'll bet they'd LOVE some good California wines, Two-Buck or others. When I was in chef school we all passed on the Italian wines in the tastings. Never found a single one worth drinking.

Heck yes Lucy. Give 'em a bottle of something from the Coast, SJV or Napa that has won a few gold medals in international competition. They need to experience some of the finer things in life Still can't figure out why they don't have a rule against booze. That's usually the number one no-no on the list for any country. Makes no sense. You can send a barrel of bourbon, but don't try to sneak a typewriter ribbon in or you'll get busted.

Ahhhh, I'm not much of a wine drinker, but Pesenti Ruby Chateau is really tasty. It's only a jug wine, but I'll take it over most of the hoity-toity stuff any day. Use to like Stag's Leap Cabernet, but since it got 'discovered' I won't pay that much for it. I have a sweet tooth, so I am partial to Botrytis wines.
Everybody knows why they tried to outlaw helicoptors in Italy, right? The noise the rotors make.
