I was going through my Vendio pages last night, trying to clear some things to reduce my storage space. I came across a "delete counters", and when I clicked on it, I found 99 pages of counters.

I have to admit that I haven't looked at them for a long time, I don't even remember how to do it, maybe someone can remind me.

My question is, do you delete your counters? If so, is there a quicker way to do it than one page at a time?

Amber,

I was just checking out my images under the Image Hosting and noticed a "edit/delete counters" right on the page. Went in and had over 300 counters on there, yikes. Deleted most and it was easy.

Click on the "Image Hosting" tab on the left side.

Just to the right of the blue box (upload images), is where it says "edit/delete counters". Click that and choose which ones you want to delete.

lifizgood,

Yes, I did find that, but I have 99 pages of them! I was hoping someone would have a way to select all of them, or increase the number on the page, it's going to take ages to do them all one at a time. I never knew they would all accumulate like that!

HOly cow! Who knew! I have 41 pages of counters and no time to do it right now. I suppose once we have them cleaned out, we could just go in and delete a couple of old pages' worth now and then. Have you asked a moderator about this? Maybe if you post your question there, they'll know. . . and that will alert everybody else to the problem. We sure don't need that stuff clogging up our machines.

At the bottom of the page is: Select all/Delete.
Sure it's only for the page but it's better than one at a time.

I have almost 3,000
But what difference does it make if you don't delete them?

I was trying to get my mg's down to see if I could reduce my charges when the prices go up. One thing I didn't know is that you can delete your recycle bin, because those still count in your total. I ended up looking for anything I could delete and came across the counters. I don't understand why Vendio keeps them, I wonder how many people know they are even there, and even if they did, why would you want to look at old counters?

I had 45 pages of counters going back to early 2002. I was comparing the hits I was getting then with identical and similar items I'm selling now. There's a definite decline in bidder activity now.

Yes I notice the same thing as I was deleting mine, I could attempt to sell that same thing today and probably get no views.

Just a word of warning. I accidentally deleted the counters on my running auctions, and now the auctions I listed last night have no counters. I hope I have managed to get them back on the ones I scheduled for tonight.

IS anybody else having trouble delete photos? I go to Image Hosting, click on the photos I want to delete, click on "delete," and nothing happens. Frustrating.

You have to scroll down and click on "ok". I deleted about 80 pictures on Sunday, and found they were still there until I discovered this.

Amber: I did know about the "ok" button and was clicking on it.

It's all working fine for me now, oddly.
