Ebay billing says my credit card denied the charge on my July billing for seller fees. I contacted the card company, and they say no charge was denied on that date. Ebay says they send an e-mail when that happens. I didn't get such a message. They said maybe it was my spam filter....

I have told them what the card co. said and waiting for their reply. Meanwhile, I paid my August 31 invoice with PayPal, and eBay billing says it might still get charged to my card anyway. Sigh.

Anyone else had this happen to them? I'm thinking, if this is a malfunction in eBay billing, they should refund the late fee.

Are you sure the e-mail came from ebay? Sounds like it might be a scammer trying to get your Credit Card info.

I would go into your ebay account directly and check the credit card info to make sure it is accurate. Never click a link sent in an e-mail. If you did that, you better cancel that credit card and get a new one.

I got a "notice" like this a couple of weeks ago. Forward it to [email protected] because it is SPAM.

I've also gotten similar ones regarding PayPal and my ISP. Spammers arebranching out, it seems.

I had exactly the same thing happen. No email notification. I usually check my spam folder daily just to be sure so I know I didn't receive an email from them.

I was checking my statement for a particular invoice & saw delinquent at the top of my statement! My credit card was fine - the cc company said no payment was requested. I have been haggling with them via email for days trying to get them to re-bill my account & remove the late fee. They keep coming back with the same canned responses.

Are you speaking with someone or emailing? Customer Circus wouldn't give me the billing dept phone number...

Thanks for everyone's input. I have checked the expiration date on the card that ebay has on file--no problem there. Chathamsue seems to have the same problem. If I find a phone number for eBay billing, I'll post it here. If the card co. says the charge wasn't denied and eBay says it was, then I think eBay is the one with the problem. I told them that in my last response. Haven't heard back from them on that one.

Some of you thought I had clicked through on a spoof message. That's not my problem at all. The problem is that the automatic charge for my seller fees didn't go through when it was supposed to.

I'd still like to hear if others have had the same problem chathamsue and I have had.

I've had it too. Was not selling this summer so I did not notice my card had expired.Ebay did not send me a notice that I had a bad card on file. GRRRRRR!

I get all of the rest of their trash mail, Don't believe my spam blocker would can the only one that mattered.

No one had been receiving ebay bills promptly since the change over. Just be patient. Don't even waste your time calling ebay. Don't worry about the delinquent thing. Ebay knows there system is screwed up and is "working" on it.
