Help! I just used the second chance offer for the first time and I am totally lost! One of the winners opted to buy it almost immediately after I sent the offer. They also immediately paid for the item through Pay Pal. The problem is, I can 't find the closed auction anywhere in my Ebay closed auctions section. Could someone explain to me how this works? I would love to use this option more often now that I found out about it, but I want to know what I am doing. The second chance offer was offered to them for a time of three days for them to take advantage of it. Maybe after the three days are up will it show up in my closed auctions? I would think it would be there as soon as they opted to purchase and paid for the item. Please help this SECOND CHANCE DUMMY!

Just go to eBay's search page, and search for the auction by item #. If you don't know the item #, the PayPal payment should should have it.

Check your My eBay Sold section. Keep in mind the title of the auction will be the same as the first one that sold.

That is what I thought but I have not. And it ended about 5 hours ago now. The item does have a whole new item number though. And when I go to that page to leave feedback for the winner, there is no link on the page for that either. It still says that the second chance offer ends in 2 days and so many minutes. It is really weird. Don't know if this second chance thing is worth it or not. Too confusing it appears to me....

It's supposed to end as soon as he accepts the offer. It's a BIN format. Ebay may have a glitch that's allowing it to end like a normal 3 day auction. Don't wait on them to get their act together. Look up your customer's email addy and send him an EOA. Once you get the money, ship it. One other thing you may want to remember about second chance offers. The offer will be launched directly from Ebay, not through Vendio. There will be no listing fee, but if you have several pictures, Vendio will see the auction as a non SM auction and will charge the normal image host fees which is a dime for each picture in the auction.
