Dad...CONGRATULATIONS!!! You will notice that all the high chairs, playpens, and cribs at giveaway prices that you have been stumbling over at yard sales for the last year will suddenly disappear from the face of the earth, never to be seen until you pay retail to buy all that stuff new. Then the yard sale bargains will suddenly reappear priced at 10% of what you paid

We have know what sex he was after 3 months.
And my wife has been doing her very best to make sure everyone has had everything needed since then.
Everything that could have been purchased cheaper, to late they already have it.
This has been a great time in my Wife's life.
And I've enjoyed watching Her!

WONDERFUL - our children are usually the number one reason we aged so quickly - then the grandchildren come along and that makes us younger- seriously,grandchildren are precious, and almost always perfect (hehe)

Congrats! How exciting. Our first grandchild is due Dec 11 and I can't wait! My daughter and her husband have been trying for 2 years and we are all tremendously excited.
Have fun....I'm about to starting baby furniture shopping and the post about none at yard sales is sure right! Oh well....off to Sears it is!

Soon to be congrats to you too general! I think you have to be one of those folks who arrive the night before or first thing in the am to get the good baby stuff... I know those were the first things to sell at my garage sales.
